Guru: Mrs Vamsi Chittajallu

Mrs.Vamsi Chittajallu started learning dance at the early age of 4 from disciples of Shri.Vempati China Satyam Garu. She is a student of Smt.R. Prasanna Rani garu who retired as head of Government College of Music and Dance in Andhra Pradesh, India.  Vamsi finished her certificate course and Rangapravesham at an early age of 15 and continued to learn several special Kuchipudi items from various renowned Kuchipudi artists like Smt. Manjula Srinivas and Dr.Chinta AdiNarayana Sarma Garu. Her performances in cultural programs conducted by state of Andhra Pradesh, India were telecast live and her fame earned her the privilege to perform for international delegates at the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. She won several performance and choreography awards in India and USA. She has been actively pursuing her interest in Kuchipudi over the last 30 years and imparting knowledge in this great art form for the last 10 years during which she has taught atleast 40 students thru her Academy Vamsi NatyaKalashala.

The students of Vamsi Natyakalashala have performed extensively in Ohio and in Open Dance compeitions all over US, and won several awards for Best Choreography and Performance.
